Derwent Hunter Day Trips from January 2012

From 6 January 2012, due to market demand for a Tall Ship day operation, Derwent Hunter will be commencing Eco Tall Ship DAY TRIPS. Derwent Hunter will also be available for Private Charters specialising in Family groups, functions, schools and eco guided interpretive tours.
The Derwent Hunter has been sailing the sheltered waters of the Whitsunday Islands for 20 years and is Multi Award winning for Adventure and Eco Tourism. The "Derwent" has been delighting guests by offering Traditional sailing, snorkelling, eco interpretation and sharing knowledge about the Whitsundays original inhabitants, the Ngaro aboriginal people, the local ecology & geology. Through the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) the vessel has also participated in Marine Park research programs ensuring that the reef and islands will be there to enjoy for years to come
Derwent Hunter is now available to enjoy as a day sailing adventure. Set sail on an adventure of a life time and experience the Style Grace and Pace of sailing on traditional Tall Ship Derwent Hunter. Built to last of Tasmanian Oak and Huon Pine, with a sailing reputation second to none, she is the “real deal”
