Terms and Conditions
Tall Ship Adventures PL
Terms and Conditions: All prices are in Australian
dollars and are inclusive of GST and exclude
National Park, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park
entry fees, administration fees of $39 per
person as detailed below. Payment in full is
required at time of booking.
There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover
park entry fees and administration costs. Fees
are charged by the Great Barrier Reef Marine
Park Authority and Queensland Parks and
Wildlife for entry into the Marine and National
Parks and the overall fee includes these costs
and our administration costs. A total fee of
$39 (approx. $13/day) is recommended by the
Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association
for a 3 day cruise to cover all these costs
and includes EMC of $5.00 per day, commercial
activity permit fee of $1.45 per day, plus
administration and service fees of $6.55 per
day including GST. There is a 1.3% surcharge
for credit card purchases.
Prices are based on multi-share accommodation
unless otherwise specified and include professional
skipper, deckhand and host, all meals, live-aboard
accommodation including linen and towels, and
use of snorkel equipment and stinger suits.
Prices do not include airfares. Clients should
note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst
we make every effort to safeguard guests, we
cannot be responsible for any damage, personal
injury or loss due to the actions of passengers
that are beyond our control. All departures
and itineraries are subject to weather and
may be changed or cancelled at the discretion
of Tall Ship Adventures.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before
departure will result in complete forfeiture
of the ticket price. We will however, consider
a cancellation or transfer to another date
based on its merits in special circumstances. We
reserve the right to substitute a comparable
vessel without notice at any time for any reason.
We recommend that passengers take out travel
insurance.
At certain times of year ‘Dangerous’ jellyfish
inhabit these waters and passengers should
take care for their own safety. Passengers
entering the water do so at their own risk
and the owners or operators of the vessel will
not be liable for any personal injury, illness,
death or any other consequences whatsoever
of passengers being stung by jellyfish’.
To minimise this risk we recommend that you
wear a full length protective ‘Stinger
Suit’ while swimming and snorkelling
during the cruise. These are provided for you
on board the vessel at no cost.
