Ulysses Motorcycle Club leave their bikes behind for a day at sea

Members of the Ulysses Motorcycle club enjoyed a relaxing day off their bikes and on the water, and left their mark in the ship’s log:
“Ultra impressive, totally superb day. Perfect weather, great bunch of people simply out to experience the joy of sailing on a beautiful vessel.
The crew were super friendly with an abundance of information on the region and history of the Derwent Hunter.
The turtles didn’t disappoint, putting on a great underwater display and numerous appearances above water also.
Our group had a totally awesome day and have many wonderful memories to take home with us.”

We answer your questions
What is the youngest age for children travelling on Derwent Hunter?

Children of all ages are welcome to sail on the Derwent Hunter, subject to weather conditions, 10-15 knots is ideal.

Infants under four are carried free of charge with full paying adults. Strollers may be brought on board, but would need to be stored down below for the duration of the trip.

Parents should be prepared to hold very young children whilst being under sail. Our crew are very child friendly, and most youngsters have a short nap in our captains cabin at some point during the day!

We provide all snorkelling suits and equipment, just advise us of children’s age at the time of booking so we can ensure we have equipment to fit.
